About Me

Karen Jennings
I write Inspirational Contemporary and Historical stories set in my native SW Missouri Ozarks. My characters face challenges with hope, faith, and joy from the Lord. Reading, Book Reviewing, family history, paper crafting, and gardening are me. I love vintage and historical everything; from the Civil War era to the Wild West, the Turn of the Century to World War 1, women in history, and Christmas. I'm like Belle on the ladder in the library as she chooses a good book in Beauty and the Beast - a fun, adventurous story with characters who stay with me long after the story ends is my kind of book. There are fantastic authors and there are good authors and there is a difference. The fantastic authors writes stories that sing to readers using carefully crafted words, sentences, and writing skills. Writing anything well is hard work! My heart is happy when I discover a fantastic author!
